OnAugust29th,theMinistryofTransportissuedthe"StatisticalBulletinoftheNationalTollRoadin2018".Accordingtothecommunique,attheendof2018,thetotallengthofroadsnationwidereached4,846,500kilometers,5.2timesthatoftheendof1984.Amongthem,theexpresswayreached142,600kilometers,andthemileagescalerankedfirstintheworld.Attheendof2018,thenationaltollroadmileagewas168,100kilometers,accountingfor3.5%ofthetotalroadmileageof4,846,500kilometers.Amongthem,thereare137,900kilometersofexpressways,19,600kilometersoffirst-classhighways,9,700kilometersofsecondaryroads,and951kilometersofindependentbridgesandtunnels,accountingfor82.0%,11.7%,5.7%and0.6%respectively.Inaddition,comparedwiththeendofthepreviousyear,thetotalmileageofnationaltollroadsincreasedfrom163,737kmto168,071km,anetincreaseof4,335km,anincreaseof2.6%.Amongthem,theexpresswaymileageincreasedfrom132,638kmto137,877km,anetincreaseof5,239km,anincreaseof3.9%;thefirst-classhighwaydecreasedfrom20,667kmto19,592km,anetdecreaseof1,074km,adecreaseof5.2%;themileageofsecondaryroadsincreasedfrom9,550km.By9651kilometers,thenetincreasewas101kilometers,anincreaseof1.1%;themileageofindependentbridgesandtunnelsincreasedfrom883kilometersto951kilometers,anetincreaseof69kilometers,anincreaseof7.8%.Withthecontinuousincreaseofhighwaymileageandthephasingoutofordinarytollroads,thestructureofthenationaltollroadshasbeenfurtheroptimized.(Source:ChinaNet)

TheJingzhou-Liping(Xiangyujie)expresswayisalargeprovincialhighwayextendingfromtheWu(Gang)Jing(State)ExpresswayinHunanProvince.Theprojecthasbeenincludedintheprovincial“TwelfthFive-YearPlan”expresswayplan.Itisakeyprojectidentifiedbytheprovincialgovernment.ThemainlineoftheprojectstartsfromtheeastofJingzhouCounty,andthenewXinchongInterchangeisconnected.Thesouthwestdirectionisrouted.AnewJingzhouSouthInterchangeisopenedalongthesouthsideofJingzhouCounty.TheroutethenextendstothenorthwestandisroutedalongtheG356corridor.Township,PingchaTown,theendoftheborderintheborderofHunanandGuizhou,connectedwiththehighwaysinGuizhouProvince,thetotallengthoftherouteis56.94kilometers,thetotalinvestmentis5.183billionyuan,thedesignspeedis100km/h,theroadbedwidthis24.5meters,designLoadroad-Igrade,thepavementisasphaltconcretepavement,therouteissetuptocommunicatewitheachother(XinchongIntercommunication,JingzhouSouthIntercommunication,andSuiTuanInterchange),andthereare2interchangetollstations.Themainlinehastollstations,serviceareas,maintenanceworkshops,1monitoring,management,roadadministrationcenterandtrafficpolicebase.
